About the Role

As our customers first point of contact, you will play a vital role in our sales outlet proving a
positive effect on our consumer’s shopping experience. As well as serving customers and taking
payments you will also advise customers, assist in locating requested goods, provide
information on products, stack and display merchandise, order stock and maintain the
cleanliness of the store. You will posses a character of trustworthiness, diplomacy, and
politeness, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.

As a Christian, you will be working under the values and principles of the Christian-kingdom
community. You will be invited to participate in mentorship, spiritual direction, counselling, and
other programs arranged by ATC at Good Hope.

RESPONSBILITIES & DUTIES:
• Welcome customers by greeting them, offering them assistance.
• Directs customers by escorting them to product displays and counters, suggesting items.
• Advises customers by providing information on products.
• Helps customers make selections by building customer confidence, offering product
information, suggestions, and opinions.
• Documents sale by creating or updating customer profile records.
• Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, or other payments
via credit or debit cards.
• Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of best-selling products and future
merchandise of potential interest.
• Contributes to team effort by assisting in other tasks as needed.
• Updates the logbook where request from new products are documented.
• Maintains the outlook of the store. This involves cleaning during low-sales periods and
at the end of the shift, accurately price tagging items, ensuring that shelves are stocked.
• Ensures the store is neat, clean, and organized throughout each business day.
• Receives and displays product inventory on retail shelves.
• Knows where products are located within the store and directs customers accordingly.
• Be aware of current promotional items and the correct pricing.
• Reads, processes, and signs stock receiving reports.
• Reports any damages to property or appliances to be repaired.

Requirements


  • At least 1 years’ experience in a customer service role

  • Excellent Verbal Communication,

Minimum Education Requirements:

Five CXC subjects including English and Maths


Physical requirements:

Working at ATC Grenada can involve a lot of manual labour and therefore you must be able to exhibit good physical strength to be able to carry, push, and/or pull moderate amounts of weight. As there may be long periods of standing, so flat comfortable closed-toe shoes are recommended. A uniform will be provided after completing the probationary period
